According to Hit TV, the upcoming sixth season of the show, Gossip Girl will finally come to an end after the last shortened 11-episode of the season will be aired in CW network.

Making a hit global phenomenon because of lead stars Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick and Penn Badgley, the final season is said to revolve around the an unstrable Serena van der Woodsen, the New York socialist.

Serena has gone off the grid, beyond even the reach of Gossip Girl. Her friends fear for the worst and hope for the best, but even they can’t imagine where they will ultimately find her.
