Via a renewal by FOX, MasterChef fans will be treated to a fourth season of the intense cooking competition reality show.

With its solid performance in ratings for this past third season, it saw an 8% increase in views from last year's numbers, even often beating out its veteran competitor, "Hell's Kitchen."

Thanks to its success, fans will have also noticed that production for the show also stepped up a notch, from the more-elaborate set to more "behind-the-scenes" style interactions from the contestants.

FOX president of alternative Mike Darnell commented, "Gordon [Ramsay] and the producers really took MasterChef to a whole new level this year."
