Even though he was asleep for half of Thor, it looks like Thor 2 might be missing Anthony Hopkins, who plays Odin, Thor's father. The reason? He really wants to play the villain in another sequel Red 2 and the filming schedules could overlap.

Red 2 would have not only him, but actors such as Helen Mirren, John Malkovich, Bruce Willis as well as the new actors to the film Lee Byung-hun and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

Even with the amazing cast, Hopkins doesn't want to throw away one project for the other as he is a over 70 old actor and there are rarely enough acting jobs around. With Red 2 scheduled to be released in August and the sequel to Thor in November, Hopkins will have a tight schedule to get around with!

I hope he manages to do both of them because Odin plays a big role in the film and storyline of Thor!
