'The Amazing Spider-Man' to be a trilogy!

After too much waiting, "The Amazing Spider-Man" has finally debuted in theaters this week and it's recently been revealed that they'll be two more flicks in the works, making this film a trilogy.
This has been confirmed right from producers themselves, Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach. During an interview, Tolmach told the press, "We knew that it was going to be more than one, and at the very least three. We’re going to let this movie tell us what the story is."
It was also announced on the film’s Facebook page, which excited stated: "It's finally here! The Amazing Spider-Man is the first installment in a movie TRILOGY that will explore how our fave hero's journey was shaped by the disappearance of his parents."
With Andrew Garfield willing to take on the lead role again, there's no confirmation for anything but a potential release date for the second film on May 2nd, 2014.

That's great news. Just came back from seeing the first one and I really liked it. Garfield makes a great Peter Parker.

the original ones did great, i have high hopes for the re-makes! :D

I can't afford going to movies anymore, used up my 2 months quota in two weeks, going to movies everyday...

I haven't seen it yet.. and maybe I wait that it will come to a DVD before I watch it :D but it's always nice that there is more to look forward :)
