Zooey Deschanel is getting animated…again!

The New Girl star will be a guest voice in The Simpsons season 24 premiere on September 30, lending her voice to bring Bart's long-lost love, Mary Spuckler, to life.

In the "Moonshine River" episode, the Simpsons travel to New York City in search of Mary, who left Springfield to reinvent herself. And during the episode, the quirky actress croons a country song to Bart when they reunite in the Big Apple.

Deschanel previously voiced the character on The Simpsons during the 19th season of the show.
